The hotel lies directly on the beautiful Cote d'Or beach of Praslin in a carefully maintained tropical garden. It is named after the mahogany, (acajou), which were specially cultivated for environment-friendly construction in a man-made forest of southern Africa. Thirty two tastefully decorated rooms spread out amidst Casuarinas and Takamaka trees by the water's edge, each room with a balcony facing the sea. There are 24 standards, 4 superior and 4 deluxe rooms.
