Botswana Safari and Mozambique Island Honeymoon

If you truely want to get away from it all, this is the perfect honeymoon for you. Five nights in two camps in the Okavango Delta and Moremi National Park in Botswana.  After the safari head for the beach for 6 days of barefoot luxury on a remote island in the Bazaruto Archipelego of Mozambique. Choose from a Luxury or Premier package to suit your budget:

Day 1
Depart from London Heathrow this evening, (other airports in the UK available) on your direct flight to Johannesburg, South Africa.

Day 2 - 3 Okavango Delta, Botswana
Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport, connect onto a flight to Maun in Botswana. On arrival in Maun you will be transferred by light aircraft to your camp in the Okavango Delta. Accommodation is for 2 nights on an all inclusive basis. Game drives, bush walks and mokoro trips (seasonal) are included.

Luxury - Kanana Camp (closed Jan - Feb)
Premier - Baines Camp
Baines Camp (pictured right), sleep under the stars in the safety of your rooms private verandah. A fully mobile four poster bed can be rolled out onto your deck for a night under the African stars.

Day 4 - 6 Moremi, Botswana
Transfer by light aircraft to your camp in the Moremi Game Reserve. Accommodation is on an all inclusive basis for 3 nights inclusive of game drives, night drives, walking safaris and mokoro trips (seasonal). Elephant activities are at an additional cost.

Chiefs Camp, located in the famed Mombo Concession, the Predator Capital of Botswana.

A unique and educational experience with a group of semi- habituated African elephants is available at Stanley's. Spend a morning walking with the elephants to observe and interact with them in their natural environment.

Day 7
After a morning game drive and breakfast, transfer by light aircraft to Maun, for your flight to Johannesburg. Overnight at an airport hotel.

Day 8 - 13 Mozambique
After breakfast you will be transferred to OR Tambo Airport for your flight to Vilanculos. Accommodation is for 6 nights on Benguerra Island (right).

Luxury - Marlin Lodge in luxury chalet FB.
From Vilanculos you will be met and transferred by boat to Marlin Lodge on Benguerra Island, inclusive of meals and activities including a sunset dhow cruise, private dinner on your verandah and a snorkel trip to the famous reef.

Premier - Benguerra Lodge Casita AI (right)
From Vilanculos transfer by light aircraft to Benguerra Lodge on an all inclusive basis, accommodation is in a romantic casita with your own private plunge pool. Wind watersports are also included

Day 14 - 15 Depart
Transfer to Vilanculos for your return flight to Johannesburg, arriving in time for your own onward flight to the UK. This flight is a direct overnight flight to London Heathrow (other connections in the UK available).

Perfect, after all our preperations and of course the wedding itself we loved the tranquility of the Villa - for the first couple of days we felt like we were the only people on the island and on the 3rd night wandered along the beach to the main resort to make sure there were other people on the island!!  it was a great chance for us to have quality time together...just the two of us and the chef and housekeeper at the villa were great - all in all perfect!
