Yacht Cruises to the Nosy Be Islands and surrounds

Tour can depart on every day of the week. (May & November are the best months for the Mitso’s, but sea’s are governed by the weather. Should the below be unadvisable, we recommend the Radamas as an alternative).

Please note yacht charter is not possible during February and March due to a risk of cyclones in the north. Hire of the yacht is on a private basis, and your itinerary can therefore be decided according to your interests and weather. Minimum of 6 nights apply.

Included in the price:
6 nights accommodation on a 2007 36ft catamaran, 3 meals a day, unlimited drinking water, all transfers and transport mentioned in the program, all activities and use of all equipment on the yacht.

Not included in the price:
International flights from South Africa or the United Kingdom and domestic flights and their taxes; these can be included on request. Hire of Dive Master & their transport if required, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, laundry, and personal items.

Hire of the yacht is on a private basis, and your itinerary can therefore be decided according to your interests and weather. Minimum of 6 nights apply.

Day 1 - Nosy Be - Tanikely
At 08:00hrs meet and embark your boat, either Corsica Cat or Lady Corsica, leave the port to continue to the underwater natural reserve of Tanikely (1 hour journey). Discover this superb reserve with bright fish and turtles, as well as an abundance of corals, great for snorkelling and diving. Enjoy lunch on board before departing for Bay des Russes, a 4 hour journey takes you to a quite estuary which is a great place to spend the night. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 2 - Bay de Russes - Nosy Iranja
After breakfast, depart for Nosy Iranja. Lunch will be served on the sands of this beautiful island. After lunch and a relaxing swim, continue to the Baramahamay River, a quite area to spend the night. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3 - Baramahamay River - Radames
Up anchor and away for the island of Radames and Kalakajoro, dinner will be served on the sands of Kalakajoro and you can swim on the island or visit the local fishing village of Charpentiers, a 1hr walk. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4 - Radames - Antany Mora
After breakfast, sail to Antany Mora a 1:30hr trip, visit the old Coco plantations before returning to the boat for a sumptuous dinner served on the beach. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 5 - Antany Mora - Nosy Valiha
Leave for Nosy Valiha, a 1 hr sail. The island is renowned for the diversity of its coral and fish as well as the friendly inhabitants. Enjoy a sundowner drink on deck before dinner. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 6 - Nosy Valiha - Bay de Russes
Return with the wind northwards to Bay des Russes, where you will anchor for the night. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 7 - Leave for Nosy Kisimany
Leave for Nosy Kisimany, where you will rest in the natural crater of the island before lunch and return to Nosy Be for disembarkation. Transfer to your hotel or the airport for onward arrangements.
