Music and Culture lovers unite! We’re getting down over in Harare, Zimbabwe this May, we are exploring all this very cool city has to offer.

We’ll be heading to the Harare International Festival of the Arts over three days each afternoon and evening. Earlier each day, we’ll be walking Harare, learning about Zimbabwe’s history and discovering Harar’es hiking Trail. Plus we’re planning a hello dinner club when we get to Harare to give you a warm Zimbabwean welcome on your first night in town.

Friday

After breakfast, we’ll walk the city (we’ll have to get rid of that itis from the night before somehow) and grab lunch at one of the city’s famous lunch spots (here come those meat sweats again) before heading to Harare Gardens for our first day at the Harare International Festival of the Arts.

Saturday

First up, we’re heading out on a tour of the National Heroes Acre, if the hour’s appropriate (wait – you’re on holiday, it’s always appropriate!). We’ll get ready back at the B&B  and then hit up the festival again in afternoon and evening for another day of dancing to some incredible live music from some of Zimbabwe’s greatest acts.

Sunday

You have the freedom to explore Harare the way you want or sleep in. In the afternoon and evening, we’ll head to the festival again for our last day and closing night of dancing to some of the ZImbabwe’s best bands and acts!
